I really like this article which makes me feel that it analyzes the contemporary education profoundly. The author used ironic and humorous tone to criticize this social phenomenon. Despite all of other obstacles we always mentioned when we talking about education, the greatest obstacle we are facing with is inside ourselves.

This passage made me think a lot and it brought me to my middle school and high school time. Because of the population, the competition is very fierce in China, therefore, we need to study very hard to take the test of the entrance of high school and the entrance of the university. I tried to recall that reasons I was learning so hard at that time except for taking test, but, I failed. I seldom really wanted to know what I was studying. And I remembered that when we asked some questions about the lesson, our teachers did say that it would not appear in your test so you don't need to remember. I think it is just like a game which the author said. The teachers want to win (the more students a teacher teaches get good scores, the more bonus the teacher can gain) and so do the students. The motivation of learning something disappeared long ago.

However, although this kind of education is not that pure, we learned a lot from it. All of our knowledge are obtained in this game. Who can say that our lives are not just like a game? I think the important is how to judge the winner and loser of this game and the attitudes of every participant.
